Amos 1 1 This is what the Lord GOD showed me: He was forming a locust swarm when the late growth began to come up (the late growth after the king's mowing). 吾主上主叫我看见这事：割完君王的青草，当晚草初生时，看,蝗虫出现了。 2 While they were eating all the grass in the land, I said: Forgive, O Lord GOD! How can Jacob stand? He is so small! 当蝗虫要吃光地上的青草时，我就说：＂吾主上主，求你饶恕罢！雅各伯还怎能存在？他已这样弱小！＂ 3 And the LORD repented of this. ＂It shall not be,＂ said the Lord GOD. 上主对这事后悔了。上主说：＂这事不会发生。＂ 4 2 Then the Lord GOD showed me this: he called for a judgment by fire. It had devoured the great abyss, and was consuming the land, 吾主上主叫我看见这事：看，吾主上主召来惩罚的火，烧毁了广大的深渊，又烧毁了上主的基业。 5 when I said: Cease, O Lord GOD! How can Jacob stand?
