Isaiah 1 Woe to those who enact unjust statutes and who write oppressive decrees, 祸哉，那些制定不义的法例，记录不义的断案， 2 Depriving the needy of judgment and robbing my people's poor of their rights, Making widows their plunder, and orphans their prey! 为屈枉小民的案件，剥削我穷民的权利，攘夺寡妇和劫掠孤儿的人！ 3 What will you do on the day of punishment, when ruin comes from afar? Will the saw exalt itself above him who wields it? As if a rod could sway him who lifts it, or a staff him who is not wood! 斧头岂能对用斧头砍伐的人自豪？锯岂能向拉锯的人自夸？难道棍杖能挥动那举它的人？木棒能举起那不是木头的人？ 16 3 Therefore the Lord, the LORD of hosts, will send among his fat ones leanness, And instead of his glory there will be kindling like the kindling of fire. 因此吾主，万军的天主，将瘦弱放在她的肥硕之中，在她的光辉之下燃起火焰，有如烈火焚烧。 17 The Light of 以色列的光将变为火，他的圣者将变为烈焰，一日间即将她的荆棘蒺藜焚毁。 18 His splendid forests and orchards will be consumed, soul and body; 她的丛林和她田园的华丽，必将由内到外毁灭，有如为虫蚀尽一样。 19 And the remnant of the trees in his forest will be so few, Like poles set up for signals, that any boy can record them. 她的丛林所剩余的树木不多，一个儿童就能计算。 20 On that day The remnant of Israel, the survivors of the house of Jacob, will no more lean upon him who struck them; But they lean upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. 到那一日，以色列的遗民和雅各伯家的逃亡者，不再依恃打击他们的人，却诚心依赖上主，以色列的圣者。 21 4 A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God. 遗民必将归回，雅各伯的遗民必将归依强有力的天主！ 22 For though your people, O Israel, were like the sand of the sea, Only a remnant of them will return; their destruction is decreed as overwhelming justice demands. 以色列啊！你的百姓虽然多如海沙，其中唯有残存者得以归回：毁灭已经决定，但是充溢着公义， 23 Yes, the destruction he has decreed, the Lord, the GOD of hosts, will carry out within the whole land. 因为吾主，万军的上主必在大地上执行所决定的毁灭。 24 Therefore thus says the Lord, the GOD of hosts: O my people, who dwell in Zion, do not fear the Assyrian, though he strikes you with a rod, and raises his staff against you. 因此吾主，万军的上主这样说：我的百姓，熙雍的居民！亚述虽然用木棒痛击你，像埃及一样，举起棍杖敲打你，但你不必害怕， 25 For only a brief moment more, and my anger shall be over; but them I will destroy in wrath. 因为瞬息间我的怒气即将终止，我的愤怒将转为他们的毁灭。 26 Then the LORD of hosts will raise against them a scourge such as struck Midian at the rock of Oreb; and he will raise his staff over the sea as he did against Egypt. 万军的上主将挥动刑鞭鞭打他们，有如昔日在曷勒布盘石处打击米德杨一样；高举向海上伸出的棍杖，有如在埃及一样。 27 5 On that day, His burden shall be taken from your shoulder, and his yoke shattered from your neck.
