Ezekiel 1 He said to me: Son of man, eat what is before you; eat this scroll, then go, speak to the house of 以后他向我说：“人子，将给你的吞下去。你吞下这卷书，然后去向以色列子民宣讲。” 2 So I opened my mouth and he gave me the scroll to eat. 我遂张开口，他便使我吞下那卷书， 3 1 Son of man, he then said to me, feed your belly and fill your stomach with this scroll I am giving you. I ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. He said: 并向我说：“人子，要吞到肚子里，要把我给你的这卷书充满你的五内。”我遂吃了，这卷书在我嘴里甘甜如蜜。 4 Son of man, go now to the house of 然后他向我说：“人子，起来以色列家族那里去，向他们宣讲我所说的话。 5 Not to a people with difficult speech and barbarous language am I sending you, 你被派遣，并不是往言语不通，说话不懂的人民那里去，而是到以色列家族。 6 nor to the many peoples (with difficult speech and barbarous language) whose words you cannot understand. If I were to send you to these, they would listen to you; 也不是到言语不通，说话不懂，而你听不明白他们他们话的各民族那里去；若是我派遣你到他们那里，他们必肯听你的话。 7 but the house of 但是以色列家族却不肯听你，原来他们不肯听我，因为以色列家族都额坚心硬。 8 But I will make your face as hard as theirs, and your brow as stubborn as theirs, 看，我要使你的脸坚硬，好象他们的脸，使你的额坚硬，好象他们的额。 9 like diamond, harder than flint. Fear them not, nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house. 使你的额好象金钢，比火石还坚硬。他们虽是叛你的家族，不必害怕他们，在他们面前不必胆怯。” 10 Son of man, he said to me, take into your heart all my words that I speak to you; hear them well. 11 Now go to the exiles, to your countrymen, and say to them: Thus says the Lord GOD!--whether they heed or resist! 起来，到充军者，你百姓的子民那里，向他们宣讲，对他们说：吾主上主这样说。不管他们听不听。” 12 2 Then spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the noise of a loud rumbling as the glory of the LORD rose from its place: 当上主的光荣由那地方升起时，神力也把我举起，我听见在我后面有轰轰之声很大， 13 the noise made by the wings of the living creatures striking one another, and by the wheels alongside them, a loud rumbling. 14 The spirit which had lifted me up seized me, and I went off spiritually stirred, while the hand of the LORD rested heavily upon me. 神力把我举起，把我提去；我走时，心中激动而苦闷，那时上主的手重压在我身上。 15 3 Thus I came to the exiles who lived at Tel-abib by the river Chebar, and for seven days I sat among them distraught. 以后我到了特耳阿彼部的充军者那里，他们靠近革巴尔河居住。我在他们那里忧郁地居留了七天。 16 7 At the end of seven days. . . 过了七天， 17 4 Thus the word of the LORD came to me: Son of man, I have appointed you a watchman for the house of 上主的话传给我说： “人子，我派你作以色列家族的守卫；当你由我口中听到什么话时，你应代我警告他们。 18 If I say to the wicked man, You shall surely die; and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his wicked conduct so that he may live: that wicked man shall die for his sin, but I will hold you responsible for his death. 几时我向恶人说：你必丧亡！你若不警告他，也不宣讲，使恶人知所警惕，而脱离邪道，为得生存；那恶人要因自己的罪恶而丧亡，但我必向你追讨血债。 19 If, on the other hand, you have warned the wicked man, yet he has not turned away from his evil nor from his wicked conduct, then he shall die for his sin, but you shall save your life. 你若警告了恶人，而他不肯离开罪恶和邪道，那他必要因自己的罪恶而丧亡；至于你却救了你的灵魂。 20 If a virtuous man turns away from virtue and does wrong when I place a stumbling block before him, he shall die. He shall die for his sin, and his virtuous deeds shall not be remembered; but I will hold you responsible for his death if you did not warn him. 几时一个义人离弃正义而行不义，我要在他面前安放绊脚石，使他死亡；若你没有警告他，他必因自己的罪恶而丧亡，他所行的正义，也不被记念；但我必向你追讨血债。 21 When, on the other hand, you have warned a virtuous man not to sin, and he has in fact not sinned, he shall surely live because of the warning, and you shall save your own life. 但若你警告了义人，使他不犯罪，而他没有犯罪：这样他必要生存，因为他听从了警告，你也救了你的灵魂。” 22 5 The hand of the LORD came upon me, and he said to me: Get up and go out into the plain, where I will speak with you. 我在那里时，上主的手临于我，他向我说：“起来，到平原里，去我要在那里同你说话。” 23 So I got up and went out into the plain, and I saw that the glory of the LORD was in that place, like the glory I had seen by the river Chebar. I fell prone, 我就起身到了平原。看，上主的光荣停在那里，就如我在革巴尔河所见过的光荣；我遂伏地掩面。 24 but then spirit entered into me and set me on my feet, and he spoke with me. He said to me: Go shut yourself up in your house. 有一种神力进入我身，使我站起来。祂向我说：“你去，把你关锁在房中！ 25 (As for you, son of man, they will put cords upon you and bind you with them, so that you cannot go out among them.) 人子，你看人们要用绳索捆缚你；你被捆起后，便不能到他们中间。 26 6 I will make your tongue stick to your palate so that you will be dumb and unable to rebuke them for being a rebellious house. 27 Only when I speak with you and open your mouth, shall you say to them: Thus says the Lord GOD! Let him heed who will, and let him resist who will, for they are a rebellious house. 但是我给你说话时，要开启你的口。以后你要向他们说：‘吾主上主这样说。’谁肯听，就让他听；谁不肯听，就让他不听好了，因为他们是叛逆的家族。” Footnotes(注解) 1 [3] As sweet as honey: though the prophet must foretell terrible things, the word of God is sweet to him who receives it. 2 [12] The glory of the LORD: the divine presence, manifested here in visible form. 3 [15] Tel-abib: one of the sites where the exiles were settled, probably near 4 [17-21] This passage refers to one of the prophet's most characteristic qualities. It was placed here by an editor, though it properly belongs to a later stage in Ezekiel's ministry; cf Ezekial 33. 5 [22-27] This passage also belongs to a later period, with Ezekiel 24:25-27; 33:21-22, during the time of the final siege of 6 [26] Dumb: unwilling to speak to the people in exile while 7 [16] (3:16) At the end of seven days . . . : the incomplete sentence probably contained some such words as "the word of the Lord came to me."
