Isaiah 1 I was ready to respond to those who asked me not, to be found by those who sought me not. I said: Here I am! Here I am! To a nation that did not call upon my name. 从未求问我的，我要让他寻求我；从未寻找我的，我要让他找到我；我对那从未称呼我名的民族说：＂看，我在这里！我在这里！＂ 2 I have stretched out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, Who walk in evil paths and follow their own thoughts, 我整天向悖逆的民族，即随自己的思念走邪辟路的人，伸出我的手。 3 People who provoke me continually, to my face, Offering sacrifices in the groves and burning incense on bricks, 这民族时常在我面前惹我发怒，在园中献祭，在砖台上焚香； 4 Living among the graves and spending the night in caverns, Eating swine's flesh, with carrion broth in their dishes, 他们住在坟墓内，宿在隐密处，吃猪肉，在他们的器皿中都是些不洁之物， 5 1 Crying out, ＂Hold back, do not touch me; I am too sacred for you!＂ These things enkindle my wrath, a fire that burns all the day. 他们还对人说：＂站远点，别靠近我，怕我圣洁了你。＂这些事真叫我鼻子冒烟，整日冒火。 6 Lo, before me it stands written; I will not be quiet until I have paid in full 看哪！这一切已在我面前写定；我决不缄默，我非报复不可。 7 Your crimes and the crimes of your fathers as well, says the LORD. Since they burned incense on the mountains, and disgraced me on the hills, I will at once pour out in full measure their recompense into their laps. 我要一起报复他们的罪恶和他们祖先的罪恶：上主说。因为他们在山上烧过香，在丘陵上亵谩过我，所以我要量好他们应得的报应，报应到他们的怀中。 8 Thus says the LORD: When the juice is pressed from grapes, men say, ＂Do not discard them, for there is still good in them＂; Thus will I do with my servants: I will not discard them all; 9 From Jacob I will save offspring, from Judah, those who are to inherit my mountains; My chosen ones shall inherit the land, my servants shall dwell there. 我要使雅各伯生出苗裔，使犹大生出继承我山的人；我的选民要以她为业，我的仆人要住在那里。 10 Sharon shall be a pasture for the flocks and the valley of Achor a resting place for the cattle of my people who have sought me. 为那寻求我的百姓，沙龙将成为羊群的牧场，阿苛尔山谷为那寻求我的百姓，要成为牛群的栖所。＂ 11 2 But you who forsake the LORD, forgetting my holy mountain, You who spread a table for Fortune and fill cups of blended wine for Destiny, ＂至于你们这些离弃上主，忘记我的圣山，为加得神设宴，给默尼神注满调和的酒的人， 12 You I will destine for the sword; you shall all go down in slaughter. Since I called and you did not answer, I spoke and you did not listen, But did what was evil in my sight and preferred things which displease me, 我注定了你们归于刀下，你们要屈身受戮；因为我喊叫你们，你们没有回答；我说话，你们不肯听，反而去行我视为恶的事，拣选我所不喜欢的事。＂ 13 therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Lo, my servants shall eat, but you shall go hungry; My servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty; My servants shall rejoice, but you shall be put to shame; 因此吾主上主这样说：＂你们要看见我的仆人有得吃，你们却要饥饿；你们看见我的仆人有得喝，你们却要口渴；你们看见我的仆人喜乐，你们却要哭泣； 14 My servants shall shout for joy of heart, But you shall cry out for grief of heart and howl for anguish of spirit. 你们看见我的仆人因心中快乐而欢庆，你们却要因心中忧苦而悲号，因丧气而哀伤。 15 The Lord GOD shall slay you, and the name you leave Shall be used by my chosen ones for cursing; but my servants shall be called by another name 你们将留下你们的名给我的选民作咒词：‘吾主上主将如此叫你死！’但是我的仆人要有另一个名字作称呼。＂ 16 By which he will be blessed on whom a blessing is invoked in the land; He who takes an oath in the land shall swear by the God of truth; For the hardships of the past shall be forgotten, and hidden from my eyes. 所以那在地上为自己求福的，要向真实的天主求福；那在地上起誓的，要指着真实的天主起誓，因为先前的苦难都已忘记，都从我的眼前隐匿了。 17 Lo, I am about to create new heavens and a new earth; The things of the past shall not be remembered or come to mind. 因为，看，我要创造新天新地，先前的不再被记忆，不再被关心。 18 Instead, there shall always be rejoicing and happiness in what I create; For I create Jerusalem to be a joy and its people to be a delight; 人们都要因我所造的而永远喜悦快乐；因为，看，我要造一座令人喜悦的耶路撒冷，一个令人欢乐的百姓。 19 I will rejoice in Jerusalem and exult in my people. No longer shall the sound of weeping be heard there, or the sound of crying; 我要因耶路撒冷而喜悦，因我的百姓而欢欣，其中再听不到哭泣和哀号的声音。 20 No longer shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not round out his full lifetime; He dies a mere youth who reaches but a hundred years, and he who fails of a hundred shall be thought accursed. 那里再没有夭折的婴儿和不满寿数的老人；百岁死去的人算是青年，凡活不到百岁的人算是被诅咒的。 21 They shall live in the houses they build, and eat the fruit of the vineyards they plant; 他们要建筑房舍，自居其中；种植葡萄，自食其果； 22 They shall not build houses for others to live in, or plant for others to eat. As the years of a tree, so the years of my people; and my chosen ones shall long enjoy the produce of their hands. 并不是他们建筑而别人来住，他们种植而别人来吃，因为我百姓的寿数有如树木的年数，我的选民要享用她自己的劳作。 23 They shall not toil in vain, nor beget children for sudden destruction; For a race blessed by the LORD are they and their offspring. 他们不再徒然勤劳，生子不再受惊，因为他们是上主祝福的苗裔，他们的子孙亦将如此。 24 Before they call, I will answer; while they are yet speaking, I will hearken to them. 那时，他们还未呼求，我已答应了；他们还在祈祷，我已俯允了。 25 3 The wolf and the lamb shall graze alike, and the lion shall eat hay like the ox (but the serpent's food shall be dust). None shall hurt or destroy on all my holy mountain, says the LORD. 豺狼和羔羊将要一齐牧放，狮子要如牛犊一般吃草，尘土将是大蛇的食物；在我的整个圣山上，再没有谁作恶，也没有谁害人：上主说。 Footnotes(注解) 1 [5] I am too sacred for you: the uncleanness of pork, obvious to a Semite, is what these people claim has made them sacred! The prophet ridicules them.
