Psalms 1 1 ＂Give thanks to the LORD who is good, whose love endures forever!＂ 请你们向上主赞颂，因为上主美善宽仁，他的仁慈永远常存。 2 Let that be the prayer of the LORD'S redeemed, those redeemed from the hand of the foe, 3 Those gathered from foreign lands, from east and west, from north and south. 从各地召集来的，东西南北聚来的。 4 Some had lost their way in a barren desert; found no path toward a city to live in. 他们在旷野和沙漠中漂流，找不到往安居之城的道路。 5 They were hungry and thirsty; their life was ebbing away. 他们口渴而又腹饥，生命已经奄奄一息； 7 Guided them by a direct path so they reached a city to live in. 8 Let them thank the LORD for such kindness, such wondrous deeds for mere mortals. 9 For he satisfied the thirsty, filled the hungry with good things. 10 Some lived in darkness and gloom, in prison, bound with chains, 他们坐在黑暗与死影里，尽为痛苦与铁练所缚系， 11 Because they rebelled against God's word, scorned the counsel of the Most High, 12 Who humbled their hearts through hardship; they stumbled with no one to help. 因此，他以苦难折磨了他们的心神，他们跌倒了，却没有人来扶持他们。 14 Led them forth from darkness and gloom and broke their chains asunder. 15 Let them thank the LORD for such kindness, such wondrous deeds for mere mortals. 愿他们感谢上主的仁慈，称颂他给人子显的奇迹。 16 For he broke down the gates of bronze and snapped the bars of iron. 因为他把铜门摧毁，又把铁闩击碎。 17 Some fell sick from their wicked ways, afflicted because of their sins. 他们因行为邪恶而病重，因犯罪而遭受苦痛； 18 They loathed all manner of food; they were at the gates of death. 他们厌弃各样的食物，快已接近死亡的门户。 他们于急难中一哀求主，上主即拯救他们脱离困苦。 20 Sent forth the word to heal them, snatched them from the grave. 主发一言就将他们病除，且拯救他们脱离了阴府。 21 Let them thank the LORD for such kindness, such wondrous deeds for mere mortals. 22 Let them offer a sacrifice in thanks, declare his works with shouts of joy. 23 Some went off to sea in ships, plied their trade on the deep waters. 24 They saw the works of the LORD, the wonders of God in the deep. 他们看见过上主的奇异作为，遇到过他行于汪洋中的奇迹： 25 He spoke and roused a storm wind; it tossed the waves on high. 他一发命，风浪狂掀，海中波涛顿时高翻， 26 They rose up to the heavens, sank to the depths; their hearts trembled at the danger. 27 They reeled, staggered like drunkards; their skill was of no avail. 恍惚且晕眩，有如醉汉；一切的经验，全部紊乱。 29 Hushed the storm to a murmur; the waves of the sea were stilled. 他化风暴为平静，海涛顿时便安定； 30 They rejoiced that the sea grew calm, that God brought them to the harbor they longed for. 他使风平浪静，大家个个欢忭，他领他们登上了渴望的海岸。 31 Let them thank the LORD for such kindness, such wondrous deeds for mere mortals. 32 Let them praise him in the assembly of the people, give thanks in the council of the elders. 在人民的集会中颂扬他，在长老的议席上赞美他 33 2 God changed rivers into desert, springs of water into thirsty ground, 上主使河域变为荒滩，使清水泉源变成干川， 34 Fruitful land into a salty waste, because of the wickedness of its people. 使肥沃土地变为咸田，都因当地居民的罪愆。 35 He changed the desert into pools of water, arid land into springs of water, 他又能使沙漠变成水源，使旱地变成水泉。 36 And settled the hungry there; they built a city to live in. 把饥饿的人徒置在那地，使他们兴建安居的城邑； 37 They sowed fields and planted vineyards, brought in an abundant harvest. 38 God blessed them, they became very many, and their livestock did not decrease. 40 But he poured out contempt on princes, made them wander the trackless wastes, 39 Where they were diminished and brought low through misery and cruel oppression, 但上主却使权贵遭受耻辱，任他们徘徊歧途无路可走； 41 While the poor were released from their affliction; their families increased like their flocks. 42 The upright saw this and rejoiced; all wickedness shut its mouth. 正直的人见到必然欢忭，但邪恶的人却哑口无言。 43 Whoever is wise will take note of these things, will ponder the merciful deeds of the LORD. 谁贤哲？详察此事，善自体会上主的仁慈！ Footnotes（注解） 1 [Psalm 107] A hymn inviting those who have been rescued by God to give praise (Psalm 107:1-3). Four archetypal divine rescues are described, each ending in thanksgiving: from the sterile desert (Psalm 107:4-9), from imprisonment in gloom (Psalm 107:10-16), from mortal illness (Psalm 107:17-22), and from the angry sea (Psalm 107:23-32). The number four connotes totality, all the possible varieties of rescue. The same saving activity of God is shown in Israel's history (Psalm 107:33-41); whenever the people were endangered God rescued them. The last verses invite people to ponder the persistent saving acts of God (Psalm 107:42-43). 2 [33-41] God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 18-19, which the psalm sees as the destruction of the wicked inhabitants of Canaan to prepare the way for Israel (Psalm 107:33-34). God then led Israel through the desert to give them a fertile land (Psalm 107:35-38) and protected them from every danger (Psalm 107:39-41). |
